Mitch McConachy
Mitch grew up in Barellan, NSW — a farming town of about 500 people, six hours west of Sydney. Half-Filipino. His mum graduated with a mechanical engineering degree in the Philippines — it wasn't recognised in Australia. She worked as a lab technician at a winery and pulled night shifts at Big W. His dad Allan, turning 79 this year, is still working. He once told a friend: 'Yeah, my son's going to be a millionaire.'
Mitch dropped out of the University of Wollongong after his first year. Did construction. FIFO. Trade assistant. Worked his way up to $30K/week in e-commerce — a pet accessories store he built from scratch. In April 2024, lost a significant amount in crypto. Bought a one-way ticket to Bali with nothing lined up and almost nothing left.
In Bali he fought Muay Thai — three rounds at Canggu Fight Night #26. Won by split decision. Then rebuilt.
In April 2023, he got into the OF management industry, built early traction, and then a partnership went sideways — creators he'd referred generating $200K/month, deal terms that changed mid-run, and months of zero income while the debt mounted. He came back to Australia with nothing. Again.
Then he founded Aruna Talent with Sangev. From scratch. Except this time with everything both of them had learned.
